Sorry but someone who says "Cookie-cutter build" alot sends off alarm bells in me.
And, no, I have never changed a build purposly to piss off the group leader because I am so impressive at GW that I know better than all.
Argue with the GL and if your right you'll convince them if they are smart. If they are dumb, the exercise will be a failure anyways.

The party "leader" never even knew i had changed anything. And i did this little "trick" only once in more then two years of constant monking. Sometimes you get bored right?
Ok i had enough, this wasn't a serious-intended topic anyway.

If you have only done this once in 2 years, do you REALLY think it was worth making a thread about?
I mean, maybe if you did it REGULARLY, but once? I think not.

Just because something works doesn't stop it from being bad unless it's high level play.
And I also agree with Fenix...

I've been using Air of superiority as energy management. It's nice cause you might get the all skills rechage bonus so that you can re-seed everyone, plus every one of the bonuses helps (Except 2x exp.). Losing all condition most of the time is really nice too seeing as some places have condition pressure.

[Divine Intervention] is awful because once you put it on a player you're hoping they take fatal damage so that it triggers. So you stop healing the player while the other monk is spamming away heals on that player and running low on energy.

GoLE should be on the list too.

That makes sense.

GW needs a Monken Blessing skill. You press the skill and your bar becomes the standard HB bar.

Sorry but you're a liar. (albeit you're being FORCED TO LIE) I'll take that quote with a grain of salt.
Divine Intervention? When is it ever a good idea to use this? Synergy? WHAT!!!!?

How about "When you suddenly see someones health plop down from 100%to 10% during a big fight and there is no time to cast anything with a longer warmup and a seed will not be instant enough"? You would be surprised how good this works with 16 DF. (i use 16 DF in DoA because it makes seed of life even better, yes, i never leave home without it when i do HM DoA) You quickly need to follow with a 5 nrg heal spell tough. DI is all about getting that one extra half second. You might have known that if you didn't rely purely on wiki HB all the time but instead tried something different once in a wile. But that's something you just can't do anymore lately since everyone "knows how it's done". Of course the game gets boring and repetitive.

If a health bar managed to wither from 100% to 10% that fast it's because of an overaggro.

Firstly, what build do you prefer to bring, and what is the build uploaded to wiki that you say they want you to bring?
You should consider that maybe the build you want to take isn't as much of an improvment as you think it is.
If it turns out you do have a better knowledge of how to run a good monk bar, and these teams are being stupid, don't play with them. They're bad players.

Exactly. That happens a lot in Ursan parties. Better be prepared otherwise they die and you get the blame. I need to repeat again that if someone asks for HB i bring HB on my bar, i just prefer to have a tiny bit of freedom with the skills that are not HB, HP and SoL. Personally, i would bring 2 HB and one protect monk to DoA, but people are so conditioned to having three identical HB monks they just get pissed when you even suggest one or two changes .
"Your skill will be your legend?" more like "Your bar will be your playright."

That "Your skill will be your legend" thing was outdated since Factions, and Ursan takes no skill anyway.
If your health withers from 100% to 10% that fast, a 30 second recharge enchantment won't save you.

I will run what I feel like as the wiki one dones't have a condition or hex remover.I would suppose non of them would show you thier bar to see if they have res of some kind cause they expect you to do it doing the cleaning up.
I guess they haven't heard of Protective Spirit and Aegis for some protection.

Prots are kinda weak in Ursan, as usually cons sets are used. That's roughly 800 health per Ursan, so PSpirit is kinda weak.

Cure Hex for hexes, can't remember about conditions. Either way, things like that aren't what make Ursanway strong. The offense is so huge that things attacking you won't matter after you spam seeds and heal party a couple times. If you're seeing targets explode, that's why you have skills like Heal Other. Under HB, it's better than infuse.
Even though I feel Ursanway is cheapening the game, at least PLAY IT RIGHT. Don't try and make your own custom changes to a build that has already been perfected.
